Join the community in opposing NIMBYism that hinders progress in Napa Valley. We have heard from many Alta Heights residents that the “coalition” doesn’t actually speak for them.
Urge Thai Pham, Joan Conversano, and Stephanie Hahn to drop this lawsuit NOW!
As legal fees mount from this frivolous lawsuit, Le Petit Elephant's available funds for tuition assistance are dwindling. This is putting families at risk of losing much needed financial support. Please consider supporting the Protection of Childcare in Napa initiative by donating to It Takes A Valley, an established local childcare advocacy organization, to help replenish LPE's tuition assistance and legal defense fund, allowing low income families to continue to access childcare while our community fights back against these NIMBY neighbors. Donations to It Takes a Valley are tax-deductible. If you can’t contribute personally, please ask your employer, friends, and family to join this important fight. A growing list of local organizations, businesses and individuals have heard the call and joined the fight, but the community still needs your help!
It Takes a Valley is a 501(c)3 non-profit.
Share this issue on social media, talk to your neighbors, write letters to the Napa Register and Santa Rosa Press Democrat, or other media outlets and make it clear that our community is fed up with NIMBYism. Thai Pham, Joan Conversano, and Stephanie Hahn must understand that their actions are depriving Napa children and families of important resources and services.

"Please help me understand how a human being can stand against the opening of a childcare. I would understand being against, for example, a night club project or a drug-related center near my house, but a childcare center come on! I sincerely hope this joke of a lawsuit gets dropped soon."
"I need the care service for my daughter in order to keep working. As a single mom LPE has been a great support for my family financially and emotionally."
"In order to keep providing healthcare to Californians, I need child care."
"LPE allows both my wife and I to work full time for our community and expanding early childhood care is a need in Napa."
"LPE has helped us with financial aid to be able to afford childcare."
"The sound of children playing should be welcome in any neighborhood."
"I came to serve the community of Napa as a family medicine physician and LPE helped take care of my son, so I can serve the healthcare needs of our community!"
"Having consistent child care as a teacher myself is critical. Being able to drop my daughter off at 7:30am so I can be at work on time before the high school starts at 8:30am is invaluable. Also being able to have a pick up time at 5:30pm allows me to provide extra time to other families and their students at the high school, and be a highly effective teacher for them."
"Napa needs to support young families because we are the families providing the workforce for the industry fueling Napa’s economy, the care centers, hospitals, and hospitality industry. We are and will inevitably will be the taxpayers supporting the aging population who has already benefited from the era of single income households, and has probably already raised their own kids when it was easy to find childcare care or be a stay at home parent."
"It is imperative that families who are actually being affected be heard, and not a small group of people complaining about aesthetics or their morning walk which is a luxury to working class families"
"This lawsuit is frivolous and another attempt to financially bind Milli and the parents that rely on her, to lose access to this building and neighborhood."
"I am also highly aware of the declining enrollment issues that Napa is experiencing, and it is directly related to affordable childcare and Napa not being family friendly. Knowing my own child is in a program that is structured, consistent, with amazing teachers is so important and valued in my household."
